Student Representatives

Last updated: August, 2003

A number of students will be appointed as representatives. Their job is to convey any issues or concerns from the student body to the staff who run the subject.

Formal staff-student meetings are conducted at which the student representatives meet with the staff to discuss these issues. The meetings are organised by Louise Walker, the Undergraduate Course Officer for the Department.

Between meetings, concerns should be mailed to one of the representatives, who will then forward the mail to the lecturing staff after editing out the identity of the original mailer. This mechanism allows students to make anonymous suggestions, and reps to make suggestions that they can pretend are anonymous.
