About the Grid Conference Series

The Grid conference series is an annual international meeting that brings together a community of researchers, developers, practitioners, and users involved with Grid technology. The objective of the meeting is to serve as both the premier conference presenting best Grid research and a forum where new concepts can be introduced and explored. The conference is (primarily) sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC) and ACM SIGARCH.

The Grid event started as a workshop in 2000 along with HiPC conference in India and then co-located with Supercomputing (SC) conference in USA for the next 5 years. Due to its rapid growth, the meeting is being hosted as an independent conference from 2006.

The Grid conference is guided by a Steering Committee.

NOTE:Grid 2012 was the last event under this series. GridXY series is now folded into CCGrid conference series. Thank you.
